HJ FILMS is a Nashville-based creative collective of film professionals who have worked around the globe for more than 30 years specializing in television commercials, corporate films, short narrative films, and documentaries.
HJ FILMS was founded by Steve Horswill-Johnston, a five-time Emmy Award winning producer, director, aerial cinematographer, and communications executive with more than 30 years’ experience in filmmaking.
Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Steve began his career as an on-air radio broadcaster and filmmaker in both the San Diego and Los Angeles markets.
HJ FILMS owns and operates NASHVILLE AERIAL, specializing in film and television drone footage acquisition.
HJ FILMS has produced numerous documentary and corporate films, for clients such as NFL Films, Amazon, Hyatt, Jack Daniels, Country Music Hall of Fame, and Vanderbilt University.
